How do I fell so hard for this man, really?

Although our first meeting with him was really not sweet at all, his cards changed everything to me.

I like Sylus devotion for mc, how he cherishes her like the most beautiful gem in his collection and at the same time, she's not an average treasure: She's his lover, his soulmate and his reason to exist and keep making himself stronger.

I know he is possessive of mc, but that possessiveness isn't in a toxic way: He encourages and insist that she makes her own decisions, that she does her things of her own will and wish, and makes sure to tell her that he supports her no matter what. His possessiveness revolves more around about not wanting to lose her again, to spend as much time with her around like he couldn't when he was a dragon because of their tragic end.

I love how he doesn't want her to be submissive to him and for her to feel less in his presence, he sees her as an equal, and wants her to see herself in that way on his side. He encourages her to make herself stronger and to be at the same level as him.

Sylus loves her true self, he doesn't want mc to hide anything for him, he loves every inch and trait about her and will not demand of her to hide anything about herself because he adores her. That man is so fully devoted to her that it makes my heart melt.

Unlike Caleb's possessiveness, he won't hold her back if she, for some reason, wants to go away from him. We see that in his card "Razor's blade" (if I'm not mistaken on its name haha) when he makes a bet that if he does come back unharmed, he will dissappear from her life as she wanted. But in the end she didn't want that, didn't make the bet herself and make sure to emphasize that to him, so he didn't hesitate on going back on his word and break that promise to satisfy her.

To end this now (because it has become a Bible at this point lmao) I love how he's always there for her, and he doesn't depend on her at all, each one of them has their own freedom and don't depend of each other, but they can help themselves if they need it.

I REAAAALLY love his independence, that he's capable of doing things on his own, that he's not that clingy with her or have a dependency, that she's not being slowed down by him or being left behind and struggling to catch to him, because they're walking alongside each other always.

And for my last take, I adore how he takes care of her and spoils her, tells her to be more greddy with him because he's willing to give everything she wants to her no matter what. And my favorite thing is that for him, consent is key and very important to him, so he will never push her to do things she doesn't want or abuse her. And that is very, very important to me ❤️
